The article defines the role of К.Ushinsky in the formation of class-lesson system in Ukraine, reasonably and characterized philosophical-methodological peculiarities антропоцентричної basics of language education at the origins of which lie views of the scientist, pedagogue, defined didactic ideas  of К.Ushinsky, consonant with the concepts of modern education in the aspect of the development of key competence ability to learn.
