Dear Ari, thank you for sharing the peculiarities of recruiting of the teachers in Finland. One of the most interesting thing about the above mentioned system is the idea of its goal - to find a good – preferably the best – teacher for the students; not someone who fits within the principal’s personal comfort zone or would make an easy colleague to other teachers.
I would like to ask about the motivation for new young teachers who come to schools, to the scientific aspect, in particular?
